Wu Jing Does Drama Role in A Foreign Luck

Wu Jing, who is constantly seeking new avenues of acting, took up a drama role in a lighthearted movie, A Foreign Luck 《天上掉馅饼》, that comes with some moral lessons. Shot in just 11 days towards the end of 2005, the movie is scheduled for release in theatres and on home video in this June in China. Because of Wu Jing's involvement, the director Yu Wei Hong, had an action scene specially added so that Wu Jing had a chance to work out a little. In addition, production for a TV series of the same title is being planned.

A Foreign Luck is about two daydreamers Wu Jing and Ma Su, who constantly hope of striking gold by a stroke of good luck, such as encountering biscuits falling from heaven, or making a pile at stock market. They soon cross each other's paths, become close friends, and eventually learn to be down-to-earth and realistic.
