-- She Ain't Mean --

For the first time, director Tsui Hark allows press visit to the set of She Ain't Mean in Changping, Beijing, whereby a marriage ceremony is being held. On the set were Tsui Hark, Kitty Zhang Yu Qi, Zhou Xun, Alex Fong and Shen Chang.

Zhang Yuqi is unsure of the sudden turn of event, "This is the last scene, I'd only know the prior events after they were filmed." She says that the scene was an amendment made on that day, this is Tsui Hark's customary ways of filming, "Often, when I arrive on the set in the morning, he'd hand me three pages of script, saying that it's what we'd be filming today. I'm taken aback, what he gave me earlier only had two paragraphs, why such a big change?"

Zhou Xun, who would be doing some environment awareness programmes after She Ain't Mean wraps up in April, adds that, apart from an earlier script, Tsui Hark'd add a mini-script, and each day, before filming begins, there'd be amendments, "Because of this, I don't have to memorise the older script, for we have a new script now."

Upon being queried, Tsui Hark says, there're bound to be changes, but I don't add additional scenes at last minute, "Those have long been in my mind, but I did not have everything on the script and shown to them."  Sina

As a side note, Sanda athlete-turned-actor Sang Wei Lin mentioned recently that he's currently training himself intensively to prepare for an upcoming film with Tsui Hark.
