Got a scoop? Submit to us. Tuesday, May 3. 2005Wu Dang 2 To Begin Filming-- Wudang 2 -- 《武当Ⅱ》 Wu Dang 2 TV series will begin production in Hengdian on May 12, says director Fan Xiu Ming. The original series Wu Dang, was a special effects laden drama revolving around an influential figure of Taoism, Zhang San Feng, played by Jiao En Jun, how he invents Taichi and his feuds with Zhu Yuan Zhang, the emperor who founded Ming Dynasty. In the sequel Wudang 2, Jiao En Jun will reprise his role as the aged Zhang San Feng, who is already a grandmaster of martial arts.
This time round, Zhang San Feng's disciple Zhang Wu Ji will step foot into the world of pugilistic fraternity. Wu Jing will be playing Zhang Wuji and gets to show off his superlative Taichi skills yet again in this series, also starring Monica Chan and Ma Su. Hengdian and Mt Wudang will serve primarily as the backdrops for Wudang 2. Hengdian World
