Lost City Snow Home Begins Production

《雪域迷城》 Mysterious Snow City (tentative) began production in Wuxi on April 10, which was also Zhao Wen Zhuo, the leading actor's 32nd birthday which was celebrated on the set. The other cast members for 25 million yuan 30-part period fantasy TV series include Shi Yan Fei as the lead actress, Ning Jing, Liu De Kai, Ding Zi Jun, Zhang Dan Lu, Wu Ma, Bao Jian Feng, Kou Zhen Hai, and Chae Rim.

Filming expects to take 75 days. When Hanhai tribe of the desert is being besieged by troops from Wang Empire, thanks to Chong Guang's instigation of his brother emperor, their last recourse is to unleash the powers of the Sacred Chalice of Darkness, hoping that it could summon apparition warriors to help ward off the invaders but...  Sohu | Photos: Sohu

In Mysterious Snow City 《雪域迷城》, Zhao Wen Zhuo plays Lei Ou, a mythical hero who is destined to be the saviour of his tribe. Zhao Wen Zhuo says that he has never done such an imaginative work before. Ning Jing plays a heretic swordswoman Ling Yun who seeks to steal the Sacred Chalice of Darkness and has a romantic encounter with Zhao Wen Zhuo. On the account of her friendship with producer Chang Sha, Korean actress Chae Rim is making a special appearance in the series without not taking any single cent.

To create a world that is beyond the boundaries of time and space, and nations, the production had the entire Mysterious Snow City and other sets built according to the architectures of ancient China, Middle East and Europe, and will also be filming on location on Sichuan's Xilin Snow Mountain. There will be around 150 scenes of CGIs or an average of 3 minutes of special effects per episode.
