Aaron, perhaps you might know him under the other name Sik Siu Lung?

Anyhow, 释小龙 Shi Xiao Long began his film career with a couple of kid's kungfu comedies with a fat kid Hao Shao Wen, and usually Ng Man Tat, in works like Shaolin Popeye/Messy Temple and China Dragon.

He's trained by his father, the headmaster of a Shaolin martial arts school, and Shaolin monks since a mere age of 2 or so, when he showed tremendous interests in martial arts as well as Shaolin Temple and the monks meditating. Original name was Chen Xiao Long, and he was ordained by the abbot and given the name Shi Xiao Long.

Later, in his teens, at the turn of the century, he did a number of TV series like Young Detective Files, Young Wong Fei Hung and low budget flicks (mostly with My Way Films) like Chinese Heroes, Undiscovered Tomb, and Iron Lion (also starring Xie Miao).

Perhaps too much involvement in the entertainment industry has taken a toll on his martial arts training, compared to Xie Miao, Shi Xiao Long's martial arts skills didn't seem to have improved that much in his teens, and he had also lost the cuteness appeal of his earlier works.

His studies were affected too, that's why he went to US, and it also gave him a chance to learn English.
