Hands of the Dragon to Start Filming in March

Hands of the Dragon, Philips Ng first starring role in a US film, is scheduled for production in March 2008. Mtano Loewi directs this Birch Tree Entertainment martial arts film which tells of Jack Lee, a young member of an elite police force in Hong Kong, being left for dead in a secretive sting operation but reappears in India with a masked identity and a mission to uncover the path to his killers and the secrets they thought he had found. Now I can see what this guy can do in a martial art film. I've seen his face in alot of HK movies like New police story, Star runner and Dragon squad and has never seen him display his martial arts skills. Cant wait to see what style of MA he will employ in this film.

This guy is incredibly talented and it'll be great to see him in a movie that highlights him more, not just as martial artist but as an actor.

Philip Ng did get to display his skills in House of Fury and Wing Chun, albeit in minor roles. Hands of the Dragon should give him quite a good chance and might already have begun production now though there isn't any news. Philip Ng himself has confirmed that he's indeed on this work but bound by contract, he's not at liberty to give details.
