In Once Upon A Chinese Classic (Light-transcending Pandora's Box), Ronald Cheng steals Light-transcending Pandora's Box from Sun Li and travels back and forth through time, bringing with him Yuen Wah, Yuen Qiu, Yuen Cheung Yan from Kungfu Hustle, Athena Chu, Ada Choi from A Chinese Odyssey, and other film characters to Red Cliff, messing up the war between the Three Kingdoms.

Light-Transcending Pandora's Box is currently undergoing production in Guangzhou (video) and, despite some similarities, director Jeffrey Lau clarifies that he won't repeat what he has done previously: Light-Transcending Pandora's Box is a completely different story from Chinese Odyssey.

In fact, it's closer to Eagle Shooting Hero in that it's a laugh-out-loud nonsensical comedy throughout the entire film, with romance being sidelined. Light-Transcending Pandora's Box is a burlesque on Red Cliff, much as what Eagle Shooting Hero is to the original Jin Yong novel.

 Press conference marking the camera rolling inauguration of 100m 《机器侠》 yuan Robot/Kungfu Cyborg Attraction (working title), a co-production by Leshi Zhenwei Productions, Mei Ah and HTV Film was held on December 15 morning in Ningbo. Director Jeffrey Lau, cast members Hu Jun, Sun Li, Ronald Cheng, Wu Jing, Alex Fong, Gan Wei turned up to unveil the mysteries behind this romantic sci-fi kungfu comedy.

-- Legendary Assassin --

Following Legendary Assassin's Beijing premiere, Nicky Li, Wu Jing, Celina Jade and Paco Wong proceeded to its premiere screenings in other Chinese cities including Nanchang, Shenzhen, Shanghai, Guangzhou, etc. In Hong Kong, they were joined in by Ken Lo, various Gold Label artistes Ronald Cheng, Alex Fong, Stephy Tang, etc. while Celina Jade sang the theme song on the stage.

Apart from personal donations, Wu Jing has, along with Sun Nan, Jing Gang Shang, Kou Zhan Wen, participated in celebrity soccer matches as a Dreamboat member to help raise funds for Sichuan Earthquake relief.

Recently, Wu Jing joined Jack Wang, Nnadia Chan, who has a beautiful voice, and a few other stars in recording a motivational song Never Give Up dedicated to Earthquake victims. You may watch the video on Jack Wang's blog.

Wu Jing's management Gold Label has been very supportive and encouraging of its artistes in taking part in charity works like Earthquake relief. It sent donations contributed by its artistes quietly on learning of the disaster.
